at a standstill
in silence
dam its song
the bird beyond its name
in this longing
starless seas
the shape of darkness

secret room
in it I make out
God's silence
Pound's platform . . .

whisper-wind
my love's breath rhythm
stilling storms

to the sea's blueprint

wolf hour . . .
my coffin of air
on waking

of non-being
supermoon . . .
an ancient sadness
behind the rain

I watch feijoas
becoming
where is it?

moon to heaven

earth quakes open
