blinded by love
maggot sees only
her inner beauty
lost for words
maggot fleshes out
the silence
maggot meet
death takes on a life
of its own
maggot grows fat
on the heart
of the matter
done with death
maggot rebirths himself
between her thighs
nothing!
maggot rolls over
in disbelief
by moonlight
maggot curls into
a pearl
out of gods
maggot settles for
room for doubt
war on terror . . .
maggot swears an oath,
'nevermore!'
flesh-gorged
maggot communes
with a godhead
flesh-gorged
maggot fills out
the moment
form and flesh
fade away with dusk
and maggot's smile
meat market—
maggot keeps a date
with beauty
lichen revises
the 'in memory of'
lest we forget
dawn coolness—
the after-birth of words
shape-shifting
moon chill—
spaces once light
mist over
watered down
to my own true face,
moonlit me
twinned for life
the mirror image
of my self
in autumn light
as if joined at the hip
dervish shadows
dewfall
encoldering
daylight
a wind sound
through unleavened trees
passes over
autumn light—
the empty spaces
we live in
clear sky—
my eyes ascribe
a colour
half moon . . .
