Richard Gilbert has observed that my "parallel-form poetics presents dual mirrors of the soul, a seeing through seeing through one voice in counterpoint with another that hits deeply enough: the root of selves. It draws on a redoubtable haiku tradition. Speaking doubly—dialogues of poet to shadow, man to ecos and world; human to the sacred, and what is most human to the sacred; as wood to pine; sky to life. In dialogue too with presence and absence".
He adds that he feels the years of contemplation involved producing this creative work. Poems unsuitable as tweets, each meant to be left with you: alone for a while. Just let it sink in without scrolling.
